It may was a special price but I got the camera from Mitabyte for R 1200. The quality of the pictures and movies is excellent. Only trouble it has no optical zoom and the fitting for a tripod is of plastic. I sold it again since I found that HP also has a model t500 with 23x zoom. That the camcorder I am going to buy now. I just was to late to get it from Game stores for just 2499. It was sold out.
